Hi, I'm Jamaal "Coach Trell" Cottrell
I help business owners, executives, and leadership teams turn their standards into consistent execution. Most teams don't have a knowledge problem. They have a follow-through problem: unclear expectations, avoided conversations, and habits nobody addresses.
Before coaching, I spent 20 years leading people in the Air Force. I trained recruits and the instructors who train them. I led 120 people from 23 specialties through NATO missions, and I kept operations running through a 63% staffing loss. That's where I learned the difference between a standard on paper and a standard people actually hold.
Today I pair that with a master's in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and credentials as a Maxwell Leadership Consultant, Maxwell Leadership Executive Program Leader, and Maxwell Leadership Certified DISC consultant. On DISC, I'm a Challenger myself: direct, analytical and built for hard problems. You'll get the truth, the evidence behind it, and one clear next step.
